Our Story
The EXTENDE Company started its activities the first of January, 2010.
EXTENDE is the result of the collaboration between the CEA LIST, innovative research center on NDE techniques and historical developer of CIVA software, and CEDRAT, CIVA distributor from 2005 to 2009 which action has contributed to install CIVA as the world leader modeling software solution.
In August 2011, EXTENDE has created EXTENDE Inc., its subsidiary in the USA, in order to be closer to North-American customers.
Our Mission
The mission of EXTENDE is to bring the benefits of Simulation and NDE Development Methodology to the NDE community.
We consider that simulation and reasoning are key values for NDE efficiency.
Neutral and independent actor, relying on a well known innovation center, reactivity and confidentiality are values to which we are fully committed.
Our Objectives
EXTENDE objectives are:
- Looking for performance mastering, improving existing techniques, promoting the use of innovative solutions;
- Pushing forward simulation, reasoning, stand back and expertise as vectors for improvements and competitiveness at all stages of the process;
- Proposing, through a global vision, adapted solutions (technically and economically) to encountered situations.
ISO 9001 Certification
Since December 2011, EXTENDE is certified ISO 9001 version 2008. This means that EXTENDE has established a systematic approach to quality management, and is managing its business to ensure that the needs of its clients are clearly understood, agreed and fulfilled.
