{"id":365,"date":"2017-09-18T22:00:00","date_gmt":"2017-09-18T20:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.extende.com\/blog\/extende-at-kint-conference\/"},"modified":"2017-09-18T22:00:00","modified_gmt":"2017-09-18T20:00:00","slug":"extende-at-kint-conference","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.extende.com\/fr\/blog\/extende-at-kint-conference\/","title":{"rendered":"EXTENDE at KINT conference"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span class=\"mise-en-valeur1\">EXTENDE<\/span> participated to the<span class=\"mise-en-valeur2\"> KINT conference<\/span> in <span class=\"g-color3\">Hogeschool Utrecht<\/span> from June 20<sup>th<\/sup> to 21<sup>st<\/sup>.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>The main topic was \u201c<span class=\"g-color2\">Modelling and Simulation, a vision of the future of Non-destructive Testing<\/span>\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>During 2 days mixing presentations and workshops, we had an <span class=\"g-color2\">great overview of the future of NDT,<\/span> new methodologies, new tools, and how <span class=\"g-color2\">virtual reality<\/span> would help to perform <span class=\"g-color1\">NDT<\/span> in near future.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>A key point was how digital technology will make teaching\/learning NDT fun and efficient.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"g-color1\">EXTENDE<\/span>presented the simulations on a test case made for <span class=\"g-color2\">KINT group<\/span> and <span class=\"g-color2\">RWS<\/span>, on the modelling of a <span class=\"g-color3\">Phased-Array UT Sector-Scan<\/span> inspection of a <span class=\"g-color3\">T-Weld profile<\/span>.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>The main results of from this test case as well as an <span class=\"g-color1\">overview of the CIVA capabilities<\/span> were presented to the participants.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>The final target of this project is to optimize bridge inspections.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>We thank the <span class=\"g-color2\">KINT<\/span> team for the nice organization of this event.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>The <span class=\"g-color1\">EXTENDE<\/span> team<\/p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>EXTENDE participated to the KINT conference in Hogeschool Utrecht from June 20th to 21st.
