It is now possible to <span class=\"g-color3\">sub-sample the detector <\/span>for the Monte-Carlo calculation, and also to compute only the<span class=\"g-color3\"> scattering for some selected projections<\/span> in CT. The combination of all these <span class=\"g-color2\">improvements<\/span> makes the use of modelling even more <span class=\"g-color2\">relevant <\/span>in the framework of an inspection design or parametric study.
