{"id":428,"date":"2020-01-29T23:00:00","date_gmt":"2020-01-29T22:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.extende.com\/blog\/civa-2020-metamodels\/"},"modified":"2020-01-29T23:00:00","modified_gmt":"2020-01-29T22:00:00","slug":"civa-2020-metamodels","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.extende.com\/fr\/blog\/civa-2020-metamodels\/","title":{"rendered":"CIVA 2020 &#8211; Metamodels"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>To understand and quantify the impact of <strong><span class=\"g-color1\">influential parameters<\/span> <\/strong>on an <span class=\"g-color1\">NDT inspection<\/span> in the framework of a <span class=\"g-color3\">qualification<\/span>, a <span class=\"g-color3\">design<\/span> or an <span class=\"g-color3\">optimization study<\/span>, simulation in <span class=\"g-color1\">CIVA<\/span> is particularly well adapted since it is <span class=\"g-color3\">easy and fast<\/span> to precisely change and monitor parameters. <span class=\"g-color2\">Surrogate models<\/span> or <span class=\"g-color2\">metamodels<\/span>, calculated from a database of simulations, go one step forward with the possibility to<span class=\"g-color3\"> resample on demand and in real time<\/span> and a multiparametric data set.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>Another significant improvement in <span class=\"g-color1\">CIVA 2020 <\/span>relates to these <span class=\"g-color2\"><strong>metamodels<\/strong><\/span>, which had been introduced in <span class=\"g-color1\">CIVA 2017<\/span> for <span class=\"g-color1\">ET and UT modules<\/span>. Metamodels are <span class=\"g-color2\">now also available in the <strong>RT and GWT modules<\/strong><\/span>. The metamodels can now also be used for the <span class=\"g-color3\"><strong>full signal <\/strong><\/span>and not just on a single component of the maximum signal obtained on a single defect.
