CIVA 2025 new feature: Porosities cluster
A new feature of CIVA 2025 allows you to define a cluster of porosities as a single defect, eliminating the need to create dozens or hundreds of individual spherical defects within the CIVA interface.
To do so, the user must define a bounding box that contains all the porosities.
Then, the minimum and maximum sizes of the porosities must be specified, along with the fill percentage of the box.
A “seed” button allows the porosities to be randomly rearranged within the box.
