Guided Wave Testing in CIVA Education
The Guided Waves Testing module (GWT) of CIVA Education supports the computation of dispersion curves for a given range of frequencies.
Your model can include:
- Planar or cylindrical homogeneous component geometries
- Isotropic materials with possibly some attenuation
- Tubular components can be considered as filled with a fluid medium such as water or oil
Dispersion curves include:
- Phase velocity
- Group velocity
- Wavelength
- Wavenumber
- Attenuation
