This characterization study of P and SV direct echoes from SDHs and FBHs detected with phased array probes show that the results provided by CIVA are in very good agreement with most of the treated cases. The differences that occurred (mainly with the 10 MHz immersion probe) are not "specific" to the phased array. They are due to the limits of the model that was used in order to take into account attenuation.
